Turned Ash Leaf Maple (Box Elder) hollow form vessel with embedded crushed turquoise/epoxy. The red color is natural, caused by tree’s reaction to a fungus brought in by the Ambrosia beetle in the living tree. Carved Cardinal on mineral specimen attached to a fitted stopper. Buffed acrylic lacquer finish. Dim. 20.5” ht. X 7.5” dia.
