Turned Ash Leaf Maple (Box Elder) bowl with embedded crushed turquoise/epoxy. The red color is natural, caused by tree’s reaction to a fungus brought in by the Ambrosia beetle in the living tree. Under cut rim on the inside makes one handed use easier. The vessel is finished, with a friction polish of different waxes and shellac hardener. Dim. are 7.5” ht. X 13” dia.
